Grupo Pefaco, a Spanish casino holding based in Barcelona, has doubled down on expanding its footprint in the African market. To that end, the company has teamed up with Moobifun, a French B2B iGaming company. Moobifun will help Pefaco digitalize its content and conquer iGaming in Africa.
Pefaco Goes Online
Grupo Pefaco’s retail offerings enjoy significant popularity in West Africa. Because of this, the company has decided that it is time to take the next step and go online. Moobifun will use its experience with iGaming and online content to fully digitalize Pefacto’s products. The tech-savvy company will put its knowledge of online marketing to use to make the operator’s new online offer as appealing as possible.
The casino firm’s online offer will first target the six African countries where the company runs casinos. For reference, these include Benin, Burkina Faso, Burundi, the Ivory Coast, Niger and Togo. Grupo Pefaco’s will capitalize on offerings such as digital scratch cards, number games and lotteries to further boost its brand awareness in the region.
In addition, the agreement will see Moobifun power Pefaco with its proprietary Mobile Money solution, allowing players in the aforementioned six countries to make easy transfers when playing online.
