Fallsview Casino Resort Reveals More Riveting Shows – Casino Reports

Everything is in order for an exciting and fun-packed July at the Fallsview Casino Resort’s Avalon Theatre in Niagara Falls, Ontario. This week, the casino has announced that it will be adding even more riveting live shows to its calendar. The crown can expect SNL’s comedian Colin Jost, “Ghost: The Musical,” Pat Benatar, Stephen Page, the Milk Carton Kids, and even more.

Fallsview Casino Resort’s Avalon Theatre impresses with state-of-the-art sound systems, comfortable seating, and a cozy atmosphere, where guests are never more than 100 feet away from the stage. In normal circumstances, the entertainment venue usually hosts more than 200 amazing performances from world-class artists every year for its many guests.

Niagara Falls Welcomes a Star Roster

July’s live show starts with “Ghost: The Musical” which will be performed at the Avalon Theatre starting from July 6 through July 15, 2022. The romantic musical thriller, which debuted back in 2011 revolves around Sam and Molly, who are assaulted when they return home. SNL’s Colin Jost will also take over the stage for a two-night gig on July 28 and July 29, 2022.

One of the most anticipated performances next month is Pat Benatar’s, who has won four consecutive Grammy awards for Best Female Rock Vocal Performance from 1981 to 1984. She will rock the stage and the crowd on July 16, 2022. Then on July 21, 2022, Stephen Page and Ed Robertson will perform their greatest hits “If I Had $1,000,000” and “One Week”.

July 22 is saved for the comedian Lewis Black who will bring his “Off The Rails” tour to the casino, as the comedian often rants about history, politics, and religion in his shows. The July schedule will conclude on July 30, 2022, with the folk-rock duet, The Milk Carton Kids. The duo will demonstrate their southern California style to the crowd and perform their greatest hits.

New Event Centre on Hold

In the meantime, the City of Niagara Falls is still waiting for the opening of Fallsview Casino Resort’s new multi-million entertainment centre. The new 5,000-seat venue was on schedule to initially open early in 2020, however, due to the emergence of the unprecedented situation its launch was delayed. Even after the restart of live shows at the casino last year, it has still remained non-operational.

Currently, the gaming resort is operated by Mohegan Gaming & Entertainment, and a while back the company announced that there are still some sound issues to be fixed before starting to welcome crowds. Niagara Falls Mayor Jim Diodati stated that the city is reliant on funds from the casino, and the new theatre would bring tremendous financial value to the region.

Back in January this year, the City of Niagara Falls received its quarterly gaming revenue allocation from the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation for the hosting of Niagara Fallsview Casino Resort and Casino Niagara. The payment was issued for the third quarter of the current financial year, and it amounted to a hefty CA$3.8 million.
